Walk For Lupus Now: 5/8/10

Join the Lupus Foundation of America Walk for Lupus Now® and bring us one step closer to finding a cure! Walk to make a difference in the lives of people affected by lupus and raise urgently needed funds for research, education, and support services.

You can walk "in honor" or "in memory" of a friend or family member with lupus. Thousands of walkers will participate in nearly 70 cities across the nation to raise funds to bring an end to this life-diminishing and life-threatening disease that affects an estimated 1.5 million Americans.

Walk for Lupus Now promotes physical activity and healthy living in a family-friendly setting. Many Walk for Lupus Now participants have lupus, or are family, friends or caregivers to someone who has lupus. So come out and show your support and give hope for a better quality of life.

This Saturday at 4pm, The Lupus Foundation hosts a Walk For Lupus at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Georgia. Please join us in the fight against this disease that affects many in our community. You can learn more about lupus at www.lupus.org
